Hosted in partnership with the Akron Children’s Museum, the City of Akron and Lock 3, and the Greater Akron Chamber.
A signature event of the Polymer Industry Cluster that develops and promotes a shared, industry-driven vision for Northeast Ohio’s polymer industry.

Greater Akron Polymer Innovation Hub
The University of Akron, Kent State University, Bounce Innovation Hub, and the Greater Akron Chamber seek to accelerate impactful industry-driven R&D, support the commercialization of new innovations, and support workforce development efforts to fuel industry growth with regional talent. The $31.25 million award through Ohio’s Innovation Hubs Program will be matched by $10.4 million in local investment.
